ZipTie Users,

The ZipTie team is early in the planning stages of the next release (codename "Nemo") which is due out sometime in the Summer of 2008. The most notable feature of this release will be introduction of a new web interface<http://docs.ziptie.org/doku.php?id=dev:initialflexclient#screenshots> (written in Flex) to replace the current rich client. We hope that the web interface will make the application easier to install and use across your network from any workstation.

Since all of you are the most familiar with what ZipTie really needs we would like you to become more involved in the release planning process. For starters, take a look at the tentative release plan found here<http://docs.ziptie.org/doku.php?id=dev:cassini>. Let us know if we're way off base with the current plan for Nemo.

Additionally, if you know of any piece of killer functionality that would fit into ZipTie then start a discussion on this mailing list or open an enhancement request in our bugzilla<http://bugs.ziptie.org>. If somebody has already requested<http://bugs.ziptie.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&bug_severity=enhancement&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailcc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=> what you're looking for then leave a comment in their bugzilla request so that we can prioritize it appropriately.

This is a great time for you to get involved in the evolution of ZipTie. Many thanks in advance.
