[Dev] 2007.09c adapters

Are we just talking about changes to existings adapter or new adapters
(that did
exist in 2007.09b) or both ?
 
Either way, my only concern is added testing time ... we released with
quite a few
bugs in 2007.09b wrt device adapters ... and I want to make sure that
they are well
tested this time ... so merging all the changes from the head back to
2007.09c
implies that we need to go through a comprehensive testing cycle ...

Does anyone see any reason not to merge all changes to adapters that
have been made on the head back into 2007.09c?  I see quite a few
differences.
