[Dev] Houston we have a problem

We were all assuming we would be moving to Eclipse 3.3 as our base for
2007.06+. However, I¹ve run into a bit of what I consider a blocker.
According to the eclipse site, and verified in the eclipse IRC, the i18n
bundles (for RCP, Platform, etc.) are not yet available for 3.3. Given all
of the work our Japanese friends have done translating ZipTie¹s 2007.06
bundles, we absolutely cannot screw those guys. DAR Japan literally
invested several thousand dollars paying one of their employees to perform
the translation.

In the past, the i18n bundles have generally followed very quickly behind
the release (within weeks). But in at least one case did not show up until
the point release (3.1.1) a few months behind the initial release (3.1). A
developer in the IRC channel, who admittedly didn¹t seem to know entirely
what he was talking about, said he thought they would not be available until
the point release. Either way, ZipTie will be on 3.2 (and therefore Equinox
3.2) until such time as the language packs are available. If it¹s next
week, awesome, if it¹s September, well ... 2007.06++.
