Is there a way to make the availability of Release Candidate 2 more prominent on the front page? I had replaced the existing 2007.09c announcement under the theory that anyone wanting to download the "non-Release Candiate" would simply hit the download link on the left which bring you right to 2007.09c. As it is now, when I load up the main page, I don't even see the 2007.12 RC2 announcement because it's off the bottom of my screen. Even if I scrolled down I might not notice it because it's just one of a list of news entries. Announcing an RC as the main thing on the front page is not unusual, nor misleading or confusing to users.

See, for example:

http://www.kde.org/
http://www.movabletype.org/
http://www.postgresql.org/

All front and center on the home page. If we want anyone but "friends and family" to run this thing, it has to be more evident.
